Updated!Top Spring/Summer Primark Dupes

ALUU1464

No-one is rich enough to buy happiness but sometimes you can dupe it; hence todays blog post. I am not rich but with a little research I can look, feel, smell and go like a celebrity, all on a budget. Here are some of my top Primark dupes for Spring/Summer 2016.

Dior So Real Sunglasses

Believe it or not, it’s Spring,  and Summer is just around the corner, so it’s time to bring out the
shades. I’ll bet you’ve seen celebs like Rihanna rock these beauties and double down that you would love to get your hands on a pair. Unfortunately not all of us can afford to spend €430.00 on a pair of Dior sunglasses but like Bill has Hillary, Primark has got your back, and you too can work work work work work work work in a  similar pair for only €4.00.

 Mac Velvet Teddy

MJIQ3895

This lipstick was sold out everywhere when people realized that this is the shade Kylie Jenner uses for her trademark mauve lip. Its been a few months and the lipstick is still really popular and a must have for most of us but €20.00 is kinda pricey for a lipstick. If you need to get the look for less then Primark have a dupe pencil for only €1.50. When Velvet teddy was sold out at Brown Thomas  I bought the liner and used it on its own but I’ve heard that Primark now have a lipstick in the same shade that retails for €2.00. It doesn’t really have a shade name but it’s the only browny one so you should have no problem identifying it.

Here are swatches of the two against each other –

Real Techniques Beauty Blender

UXHP5058

When it comes to make-up nowadays, it’s all about the contour, highlight and bake honey, so we should all know by now that a beauty blender is as essential as foundation. If you’re looking for something cheaper than the famous real techniques blender, you can get one that will do the job for €1.50 at Primark. A Real Techniques blender retails for €7.99 (Varies depending on where you purchase it).

Lancome – La Vie Est Belle

JMIW4120

I got a whiff of this P.S Love fragrance in store and it smelled a lot like La Vie Est Belle which has become a favorite for many women since its release in 2012. It smells absolutely incredible. I think every woman should have at least one good designer fragrance but lets face it, sometimes with all the other costs and priorities in life this is not possible .This Primark fragrance is a great alternative for this Lancome scent. A bottle of La Vie Est Belle retails for about €77.00 for a 50ml bottle (Again this could be less or more depending where you get it). This P.S Love fragrance can be yours for  less than €10.00. Mi Moneda

GBKZ1086

It’s Spring so it’s time for flowing tops, peach lips, tank tops and all kinds of tees. With all that already on point, what better to compliment those than a pendant necklace.  Celebs like Rihanna, Fearne Cotton and Halle Berry have been spotted wearing these pendant necklaces. Mi Moneda necklaces vary in price as the three pieces of the necklace are sold separately  and you can pick and choose the metals and jewels on it.  A basic necklace would come in at €234.00 so I personally am going to have to wait for christmas (BOYFRIEND EDIT: AND LONGER), so in the meantime I will wear the one I picked up from Primark today for €4.00.

Cartier Love Bracelets

QFSC0219

Last but not least, I give you my dupe for Cartier love bracelets. Celebs like Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Mila Kunis, Jennifer Aniston, Drake and even royalty like Princess Madeline of Sweden own these. Now love bracelets range from €5.000 to €50.000 each which is kinda obscene for a bracelet, thank goodness you can get yourself four look alike bracelets from Primark for just €4.00.

If you know of any other dupes ( not just from Primark) , please share them with me, I’d love to try them out. Thanks for reading.

xoxo
