Hey guys, so it’s June, my favourite month of the year. Why? Because it’s my birthday month. I don’t usually do much for my birthday, usually just a few drinks with friends .
This year however I decided I’m going to do a little bit more, I’m not throwing a party or anything but I plan on having a girls night out. That will begin with everyone meeting up at mine for a few drinks and macaroons while we get ready (as girls do), then it’s a three course dinner at a lavish five-star restaurant. Then… we’ll hit the club.
I decided to serve the drinks in a really pretty but cheap way and I decided to share it with you guys just in case you are planning a little something and want to add a little glam to your drinks.
- Flutes (these are plastic but feel free to use the real deal if you want to)
- Coloured sugar (you can make this yourself with sugar and food colouring but I’m lazy so I just bought it)
- A lemon( or any citrus)
All you need to do is put the sugar on a plate, rub some of the lemon to the rim of the glass and then rub the rim of the glass in circular motion on the plate, add some raspberry, followed by the bubbly and enjoy.
I got a couple bottles of JP Chenet for this…
I also bought some Moët for the dinner.
I have decided what to wear as well, let me know what you think about it.
I got the bodycon dress on boohoo.com and I’m meant to receive it late this week. It was €20 and I decided to buy it after seeing how amazing it looked on another blogger.
Since I am now poor I decided to cut the cost with my accessories so I bought them at Penny’s/Primark. The necklace was €4, the bracelets were €3 and the clutch was €12.
I’m not really a cake person but I did order a really cute small cake, I will post a picture on the day on Instagram so make sure you follow @misszacks21 to check that out.
So that’s it, I’m hoping that everything fits and goes well. Let me know what you think about my party ideas and what you think I need to add or subtract. I’d love to hear from you.
