Plaid Shirt and Shorts – Four Looks

IMG_4460[1]

Hey Ladies,

This is my first style post and I’m going to keep it nice and simple. A pair of shorts and plaid shirts are items that almost every lady has in their closet, especially the plaid shirt. It is one of those comfortable, stylish but casual must haves. The best thing about this is that it can be worn almost every season and it is a timeless piece of clothing. For this post I opted for shorts because it is getting warmer but if you’re uncomfortable a pair of jeans in the same wash or even black skinny jeans will also work. Even a black skirt will do the job.

Look 1

For this look I was trying to go for that Kylie Jenner inspired make up.I just tied the shirt around my waist over the shorts. I added a white stringy tank top, some black slip on sneakers, an Eiffel Tower pendant necklace and a River Island mini crossbody.

Look 2

Here I tucked the shirt into the shorts and added a tan belt, some tan oxfords, my speedy30 and a pendant necklace from Miss Selfridge.

Look 3

Look 4

Here I wore the shirt over a black tank top, wore some black tights, some white canvas sneakers,a stack necklace from Pennys and this bag from New Look.

Let me know which of these is your favorite in the comments below.  xoxo Julie

I like them ALL – but look #2 is my favorite! I forget how versatile simple, everyday articles of clothing can be… thanks for the summer style tip.
